Benicia is a city that can be found in the county of Solano, in the state of California in the United States. This city is also the first city that was founded by Anglo-Americans. It is a beautiful waterside city as it is surrounded by the San Francisco Bay and also the Carquinez Strait. The western part of this city is occupied by Vallejo and the Martinez regions. The city is divided into four regions for administrative uses. Most of the residents reside in the western region. This city is also home to Benicia Arsenal, a major US armoury which is very efficient. The city is measured to be 40.4 sq. kilometres vast with most of it covered by land. This city is also known for its markets and fairs which are held on a weekly basis. The total number of people residing here is 26,865 according to a recent census. This city is a mixture of Whites, Hispanic and also Latinos. The Benicia Breeze is a very developed means of transport used here.
