The University of California Botanical Garden is actually a living museum which is open for the public providing some of the most diverse plant collections in United States. This botanical garden was established in 1890 and is spread over 34 acres of land and contains almost 12,000 different kinds of plants from all parts of the world. There is also an outdoor museum which has unique collection of living plants.
