Telegraph Avenue is a street beginning at the south side in the midst of the historic downtown district of Oakland in California and ending at the north side at the southern edge of the University of California in Berkeley campus in Berkeley. Overall, this street is 4.5 miles which comes to 7 kilometers in length. This avenue is of 4 block section to the south of the university from Bancroft way to Dwight way. This section is home to lots of restaurants, clothing shops, bookstores and many street vendors who occupy the wide sidewalks.
