Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park
This is a state protected park situated in Monterey County in Big Sur. It covers more than three thousand acres of land and is named after Julia Pfeiffer Burns, a rancher and resident of Big Sur. The park has camping and hiking areas and provides excellent views of the Pacific coast. It also provides scuba diving facilities. The McWay Falls in the park drops over a height of eighty feet into the Pacific Ocean.
