Coast Highway Route 1 is a route which hugs the California Coast and offers access to the austere, fog shrouded cliffs and windswept cypress trees. It also offers access to the crashing surf of the Pacific Ocean. Through this highway, one can view the rugged canyons, sea lions, towering redwoods and also other marine life. The length of this route is 72.0 miles.
