Hiking is a huge part of why tourists want to go to the desert and its beauty draws them to explore it further. So if one is planning to hike in Borrego Springs, there are some areas which are of interest. These are the north side of Anza Borrego which extends from north Borrego Spring to Coyote Canyon and Anza in Riverside Country. Some of the peaks like Mountain Cahuilla footbaths can be hiked in the Santa Rosa Mountains.
