This city is situated in the south western region of San Fernando Valley and it also consists of a small portion of Santa Monica Mountains. Calabasas is nearly 35 kilometers away from Los Angeles. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of about 34.1 square kilometer, out of which 33.3 square kilometer is covered by land and only 0.1 square kilometer is under water. The city has a cool climate with mild snowfall in the month of December. There is also a Hindu temple located in this region and is visited by many Hindus every day.
