Calistoga, located at the edge of Napa Valley, is a city in Napa County in California, USA. It is a small city with an area of about 7 sq km, housing a population of approximately 5,000 residents. Incorporated as a city in 1886, Calistoga is a favourite destination for thousands of tourists from all over the world. The Wappo tribe was the earliest inhabitants of this region. The first European settlers were the Spanish, who settled here during the eighteenth century.
This city is popular due to the numerous hot springs that are found in the area. Its topography comprises vineyards, hot water pools, hills, valleys, lakes and much more.
Mount Saint Helena is one of highest places in the city. Another important geographical site in Calistoga is the Old Faithful Geyser which is famous for its healing powers.
