Camarillo is a very big city located in the county of Ventura, California in the United States of America. Camarillo is basically situated in the eastern Oxnard Plain. To the north of this city lies the Santa Susana Mountains and to the northwest lies the Camarillo hills, the Conejo valley is situated to the east of this city. According to the 2000 census the population in the city was found to be around 57,077. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town is supposed to have a total area of about 49.1 square kilometers, out of which 48.7 square kilometer is covered by land and only 0.4 square kilometer is under water. The soil here is very nutritious thus very useful for the purpose of agriculture and irrigation. The city has a cool climate with mild snowfall in the month of December. The city experiences temperature below 0 degrees in winters.
