Nitt Witt Ridge can be described as a house located on 2 ½ acres within Cambria, California. Recluse/artist Arthur ‘Art’ Harold Beal purchased hillside lot of his in the year 1928. Thereafter, he spent around 5 decades carving out terraces with just a shovel and pick, thereby having created ‘castle on a hill’ of his own. ‘Der Tinkerpaw’ or ‘Captain Nitt Witt’ is the name by which Arthur Harold Beal is known.
