Campbell can be mentioned as a city located in ‘Santa Clara County, California, US’. It is a portion of ‘Silicon Valley’, within the ‘San Francisco Area’. Even though it does not fall in the category of high-tech cities (like many of its neighbors), the fact that eBay originated in Campbell cannot be ignored. Not only has that, Pierre Omidyar, its creator, also belonged to Campbell.
The area of this city on the whole is around 14.8 sq. Km; out of which 0.3 sq. Km is water.
This area consists of various percolation ponds inside ‘Los Gatos Creek Park’. San Tomas Aquino Creek flows towards north. It is fully compounded and happens to run via concrete culverts.
Campbell has been bordered on eastern side as well as northern side by ‘San Jose’ and on the southern side by ‘Los Gatos’. On the western side, a small strip of ‘San Jose’ goes on to separate Campbell from Saratoga.
The climate is quite humid.
