Capitola can be described as a city located in county of Santa Cruz, California, US. It, in fact, lies along coast of ‘Monetery Bay’.
Capitola has developed far and wide in the last few years; thanks to many of its trendy restaurants and shops on shore, directly having connected to sandy beach, and fishing wharf. Capitola lies on the western side of census-designated region of Aptos; and on eastern side of Live Oak, i.e. a CDP.

Snowfall does not occur. July proves to be the hottest month; with temperature of around 74 degree F; whereas January proves to be the coolest; with temperature of around 39 degree F.
According to census conducted in the year 2000, population of Capitola was 10033; with its density being 2406.1 per sq. Km.
