Monastery Beach is a well known dive site situated in Monastery-Carmel area. This beach has an arm of the submarine canyon and has some great views for the visitors. One can even build bon fires on the sand. However, whilst here, one has to be careful as there is a steep slope off into the ocean. This beach is also known by the name, San Jose Creek Beach and is famous amongst the scuba divers.
