Carmel Bach Festival began in the year 1935. This is a three day festival of concerts of three weeks. However, from 2009, due to the economic concerns, it got reduced to 2 weeks. This festival features historical performance to facilitate a rediscovery of the Johann Sebastian Bach works along with Baroque music. It includes performances like recitals, lectures and such programs.
