Borromeo del Rio Carmelo Mission
The Borromeo del Rio Carmelo Mission is also called as the Carmel Mission and is a historic Roman Catholic mission church situated in Carmel-by-the-Sea. This historic building was the headquarters of the padre president, Father Fermin Francisco de Lasuen. Destroyed in mid 1800s, it was restored in 1884. At present, it is a parish church and also the most beautiful of all missions.
