The Sunset Center is near the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea, two blocks from the shopping and dining district of Ocean Avenue. In 1931, it was the finest assembly hall of any school in the area having a seating capacity of 700 people. For forty years, it has been home to singers, dancers, symphonies and musicians. The center serves as an economic and cultural stimulant for the community.
