Chico can be referred to as the most densely populated city located in ‘Butte County, California, US’. It is an economic, a cultural, and an educational center with regards to northern part of Sacramento Valley. The other cities in vicinity of Chico Metropolitan Area are inclusive of Oroville and Paradise. Villages and towns in the area of ‘Greater Chico’ are inclusive of Forest Ranch, Nord, Dayton, Cohasset, and Durham.
The official nickname of Chico is ‘City of Roses’. This nickname has been given by Seal of the City of Chico.
Arbor Day Foundation had designated the status of ‘Tree City USA’ to Chico 23 years ago.
