Senator Theater is a historic theater which performs arts house in Chico. Historically, this theater was purchased in 1978 by United Artists. The Senator was opened in 1927 as a movie house and vaudeville. The Senator was restored in 2001 and reopened as a performing arts center. The theater has 1000 seats making it one of the largest venues in the area.
