Tourist Guide Commerce
Commerce is surrounded by the famous Los Angeles city from two directions wiz the north and the northwestern direction. The city of Commerce comes under the Los Angeles County and is located in the central region of the Californian state. The city is separated from the Downey city by the Hondo River and the Los Angeles River flows from the Southern region of the city. The city was incorporated by the American government to support the revenue of the state and hence many industries were started in the city in the year 1920 and till the year 1945 the city became one of the major industrial centres of the state. Commerce occupies a total area of around 17.02 square kilometers of the state. The settlements in the city increased as the industries increased and in the year 2000 the population was around 12,568. The climate experienced by the city is the typical subtropical climate which is also seen in the rest of the state of California.
