Coronado Beach is a famous tourist attraction in the state of California. The beach is a prime location on the island of Coronado south of the Naval Air Station and extends as far as Hotel Del Coronado and farther. Popular activities include swimming, surfing, sailing, and body-boarding and fishing. Apart from water activities, one can also enjoy a game of beach volleyball, tide pool and also kite flying. In the moths of January to March, migrating whales can be spotted in the waters along Coronado beach. Getting to Coronado beach will cost you a minimum of a short ferry ride or a car trip across the San Diego Bay Bridge.
