Glorietta Bay Beach is located to the south of Hotel Del Coronado and City Hall. The beach is a famous tourist attraction which gives visitors the opportunity to view the Glorietta Bay and the Coronado Bridge in a unique way. The Glorietta Beach also offers a huge grass-filled park, while other facilities include restrooms, playground equipment, and another tiny beach area. The beach is considered to be a jewel of San Diego hotels and has housed many movie stars including Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemmon in the cult film Some Like it Hot.
