Coronado’s Silver Strand State Beach extends from the Pacific Ocean to the San Diego Bay. The beach is Coronado’s famous tourist attraction and offers many fantastic recreational activities accompanied by the area’s mild climate. Popular activities include swimming, camping, surfing and boating, water skiing and volleyball among others. Anglers can enjoy a variety of fish like corbina, perch, grunion and yellow-fin croaker. The Silver Strand Beach also features a park which offers four massive parking lots, restroom and also cold showers. Also available are fire rings for cooking out on the beach.
