The Costa Mesa Historical Society Museum was formed by the Costa Mesa Historical Society in 1966 and the purpose of the museum was to promote and to preserve the civil, natural and the ecclesiastical history of the area in general and also particularly, the city of Costa Mesa. The collections of the museum include historical photographs, archives and also a library. There are also maps, books and personal papers which one can get to view at the displays.
