Tourist Guide Daly City
Daly City is located in the San Mateo County of California State in the United States.
The city received its name in honour of the landowner and businessman, John Daly.
Daly City has one of the largest populations of Asian residents. It is home to a high number of Filipino Americans as well.
The city is surrounded by Colma, South San Francisco, Pacifica, Brisbane and San Francisco. The city also borders some famous spots like Olympic Club and San Bruno Mountain State Park.
Daly City is the location of several Seismic faults like Hillside Fault, Serra Fault and San Andreas Fault.
As per the 2000 census, the population of the city was 103,621 residents.
It has more pleasant weather than the surrounding areas. Winters are short with a small quantity of snow. Summers are mild and temperate. This area can be visited at any time through the year; however, winters are preferable.
