Daly City is mainly famous for its seven mile long coastal area. A large number of tourists come here to enjoy sea water activities all year round.
The Cow Palace arena hosts a famous annual show of Grande National Rodeo, Horse and Stock.
Tourists can visit the Lake Merced Golf and Country Club. The golf courses are not only used for playing golf, but also for holding many other events. There is a magnificent club house which is open throughout the year.
The Golden Gate National Park exhibits the cultural history of Native America, which dates back 200 years. The recreational area in the park consists of Thornton Beach of Dale City.
The Pacific Plaza is a magnificent structure in the city. An exclusive feature of San Mateo County, the San Bruno Mountains, are located near Dale City.
The San Bruno Mountain State Park is to be found here. It is the only park situated on an open space island. It is a home to endangered and rare species of plants and animals.
