Racetrack Playa is a seasonally dry lake which is situated in the north side of the Panamint Mountains in Death Valley National Park. It is popular for sailing stones rocks which mysteriously move across its surface. The floor of the playa is dry with scorched mud which has broken into little pentagons and mosaic. These rocks seem to move on their own. It is also believed that nobody has seen these rocks move.
