The Ubehebe Center measures 0.5 miles, 400 feet high and 122 meter deep. This is the only crater in the area which is due to the volcanic explosion. This is an unusual addition to the variety of geological features in Death Valley National Park. This includes many volcanic craters, ash hills, cinder cones and also relics from the explosion which is 2,000 years old.
