Duarte Historical Museum happens to be a major activity carried out by Duarte Historical Society. Previously, it was private house which was owned by Los Angeles County’s district attorney, i.e. Buron Fitts. Making use of endowment funds; all the way from estate of ‘John Strunz’, this house was bought by Society, thereby having moved to present site. This happened in the year 1990.
