Visitors to this beautiful park can enjoy fishing and swimming in the Sacramento River, get a stunning view of Mount Shasta and enjoy hiking in the back country. There are 76 urbanized campsites and six natural campsites in the park. A hiking trail of 28 miles adds to the attraction of the park. The park is well-known for its glacier-polished crags having a height of 6,000 feet.
