Encinitas, the coastal city of California belongs to the county San Diego. The city is situated 95 miles south of Los Angels and 25 miles north of San Diego. The incorporation of Encinitas was done in the year 1986. The city covers an area of 52.1 km square of which 5.07% is filled with water. Encinitas has an elevation of 180 feet above sea level. The weather condition of the city is very mild with daily temperatures of 72 degree Fahrenheit. Encinitas receives an average rainfall of around 250 millimetres every year. A total population of 14.80% belonged to Latino or Hispanic communities. Encinitas is home to a number of cultural events, depicting the importance of traditional beliefs. The major cultural event is the Annual Fall Festival, conducted in November every year. This festival was previously called as the Poinsettia Festival.
