The city houses the famous San Dieguito Heritage Museum. It is the living history museum built in the year 1988 and exhibits the old photographs and artefacts from San Dieguito and Encinitas. San Dieguito Heritage Museum is a non-profit association which is backed by the donations from the members and the wider community.
