Lake Natoma is famous spot for crew races, kayaking, canoeing, and for other aquatic sports. The area is steeped with history of California. This is a narrow lake, great for fishing, to learn to paddle and sail and to watch the wildlife. One can get to relax in the metropolitan Sacramento Area. It is twenty minutes from downtown Sacramento. The lake is quiet and peaceful for people who would like to get away from the bustling city life. Nearby the lake, there are a collection of sailing and rowing boats.
