Sutter Street has been the heart of Folsom since mid 19th century. The street includes three block strip of restaurants, stores and bars which highlight a part of Folsom city and are still intact since its conception in 1851. The tenants may have changed over the years, but the look and the feel of old Folsom still brings a person back to the Gold Rush days. There are some original stores here like the Folsom Hotel, a popular night spot on weekends which has remained the same for more than a century. Then, there are popular spots like Yager’ s Taphouse, Hacienda Mexican Restaurant and such places which are popular.
