Fountain Valley can be described as a city located in county of Orange, California, US.
Fountain Valley is one of the middle-class residential regions in California. It’s also known as a ‘classic’ bedroom community.
The region which encompasses Fountain Valley had originally been inhabited by none other than Tongva people. Official incorporation took place in the year 1957; prior to which it had been known as ‘Talbert’.
The name ‘Fountain Valley’ refers to an extremely high ‘water table’ in this region. The other reason was presence of numerous ‘artesian wells’ in the area.
As per US Census Bureau, area of Fountain Valley, on the whole, comes out to be 23.1 sq. Km; out of which 0.11%25 consists of water. This city receives rainfall of around 13 inches every year. In the month of July, temperature is maximum, i.e. around 83 degree F; whereas January witnesses the lowest temperature; i.e. around 45 degree F.
Population according to 2009 census was figured out to be 58309.
