Fremont: Attractions and more...
Mission Peak is a part of a crest, which includes a Monument Peak and Mount Alison. In winter, upper parts of the peak experience light sprinkles of snow. However, snowfall is occasional and the layers are light enough to melt away within a few hours. This place is famous with tourists for hiking.
The Alameda Creek Regional Trail is a park situated around the Alameda Creek. This stretches for about 12 miles.
The trail originates in the Niles and continues till the San Francisco Bay area. The trail includes two paths, situated on each side of the Alameda Creek, parallel to each other.
The path on the southern side is paved. Hence it can be used by cyclists and pedestrians. The path on the northern side is unpaved. Hence, cyclists, pedestrians and riders on horseback can use it. These paths are directly connected to the Coyote Hills regional Park.
The Coyote Hills Regional Park offers magnificent views of the bay area.
The famous bridges, Bay Bridge, San Mateo Bridge and Dumbarton Bridge can be viewed from here.
