The most famous attraction in Garden Grove is Crystal Cathedral. It is a huge protestant Christian church. The church was originally built by Dr. Robert H. Schuller and his wife in 1955. The spot where the Crystal Church is located was originally the location of the Garden Grove Community Church. The church has a magnificent structure made up of 10,000 rectangular panels of glass. The total seating capacity of this church is 3,000 worshipers.
Atlantis Play Centre is located on Westminster Avenue in Garden Grove. It is a children’s park covering an area of 4 acres. The park is based on the Atlantis theme and includes equipment in the shape of sea serpents, dragons, whales and other marine animals. The play centre is a great place for children and their parents too.
Garden Grove has two theatres. The Gem Theatre is situated on the Main Street. Another theatre, the Festival Amphitheatre, is located nearby. Both theatres are famous for performances of music, dramas and plays.Related Contents
