Jack London had grown up in Oakland. This museum goes on to house artifacts and displays from his writings and life. It lies in ‘House of happy Walls’ constructed between 1919 and 1926. Most of the ‘furniture’ within the house had been designed by Londons. Also, it has been ‘custom-built’ for this house. One can categorize Jack London Museum as Literary Site, Historical Museum, Furniture Display, etc.
