Sharkeez was founded by Ron Newman. Within a short time-span, this place became a hit amongst college students and youngsters; professionals, in particular. In spite of recession in early 1990s when several restaurants and bars wound up their businesses, Ron and Greg Newman took the decision of staying in nightclub/restaurant business. They were right in doing so as Sharkeez is amongst the most reputable bars in Harmosa Beach right now.
