Established in 1968, Huntington Central Park is the crown jewel in the public park system in Huntington Beach. Operated by the city park maintenance, it is full of events coordinated through community services. The citizens approved a six million dollar to the 356 acre park bond which helped to finance the Central Park. The park has a central library and cultural center too.
