Huntington Beach State Park is a long narrow beach which extends for miles from south Huntington Beach. The natural preserve is to the south of the beach and is the nesting place of the California Least Tern. The park also protects the birds and as the area is fenced off, one can watch the birds with binoculars. There are specific fees to entering the park premises.
