The Irvine Museum was founded in 1992 by Joan Irvine Smith and her mother, late Athalie R Clarke. The Irvine Museum is totally dedicated to the preservation and also for the display of California art of the Impressionist Period. This museum also embraces a principal role in the education and for its furtherance of this significant regional variant of American Impressionism which is associated with California and its beautiful landscape.
