The Josha Park is popular for rock climbing amongst the rock climbers. This sport is performed during a winter practice while the Yosemite Valley and other parts are snowbound, and later it became an area of interest. There are numerous climbing routes at all levels of difficulty. Some are short, and some are very far away routes. Such rocks are composed of quartz monzonite, which is a rough type of granite.
