As one goes on hiking at the Josha Tree National Park, he can get an idea of the 792,000 acres of rock, prickly plants that look alike. Through hiking one can see the cholla cactus needle which glow due to the low sunlight behind it. There are many hiking trails within this park, many of which are accessed from a campground. These are shorter hikes and longer hike trails too.
