Lake Tahoe is the largest water body in the city and the fifth largest in the state of California. According to the Geological survey department of the Californian state the complete spread of the lake in the year 2006 was around 5 acres. The Lake Tahoe has a record as the deepest lake in entire USA. Boating and other water sports are conducted in the lake for the entire period of the year.
