Windansea Beach encompasses a historic stretch of scenic coastline situated in La Jolla. It is named after an oceanfront hotel which burned down in late 1940s. The main peak here is a classic reef break and has been popular amongst the region’s most skilled surfers for its waves and good form. The rocky shore of this beach is known for its beautiful scenery and surf breaks created by underwater reefs. There are also lifeguards staffed here at the beach on weekends in springtime and daily in summer.
