These are a group of 12 coastal cottages known as the 12 Green Dragon Buildings, built by a German immigrant, Anna Held Heinrich. This became an artists’ colony and its construction were finished by 1973. The remaining four cottages were demolished in 1991. At present, these building are occupied by a loose collection of galleries and boutiques. Once a retreat for the musicians, writers and actors, these buildings are at present simply historic remains of the colony.
