La Jolla Shores is a residential area and home to the Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus along La Jolla Shores Beach. This beautiful beach in La Jolla is situated at the foot of this neighborhood. La Jolla Shores neighborhood is to the north of the village of La Jolla and along the La Jolla Shores Drive. This neighborhood is a small business district of shops, area markets and some popular restaurants along the Avenida de la Playa. Moreover, this neighborhood is a highly sought after neighborhood for its oceanfront views. It is famous for the beach and the tennis club, a popular summer spot for the tourists.
