Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego

This museum is located in La Jolla has more than 3000 works for preserving, conserving and interpreting the works of arts since 1950.  It was founded in 1941 in La Jolla as the Art Center but in the 1950’s and 1960’s it operated as the La Jolla Art Museum and was the residence of philanthropist Ellen Browning Scripps.

Windansea Beach

This is a beautiful beach which encompassing a historic stretch of picturesque coastline located in La Jolla and the beachfront stretches from the north of Palomar Avenue (Big Rock) till the south of Westbourne Street. Visitors can enjoy surfing here and have a relaxing time as well.

La Jolla Cove

This is a very small beach and is located within the walking distance from the Children’s Pool Beach and is the most beautiful beach in the Southern California. This beach is popular for swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling.

Torrey Pines Golf Course

A municipal public golf course owned by the city of San Diego sitting on the coastal cliffs and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It was named after the Torrey Pine which is a rare tree growing along the local coastline in San Diego County
