La Mesa Lagoon Lake is the largest water body in the city and the seventh largest in the state of California. According to the Geographical department of the state the total area measured under the lake is around 5 acres. The main activity done in the lake is fishing than any other activity. Boating and other water sports are also conducted in the lake for the entire period of the year.
