Laguna Beach has been a center of art for decades. The Laguna Art Museum is one such center where, there is continuation of heritage with an impressive list year round of exhibitions and programs. Within the hallow halls, one can find classic and contemporary works by artists of both young aspirants and world renowned artists. Here, the emphasis is on the Californians with many permanent and temporary art collections. This museum was founded in 1918 by a small group of painters who had settled in Laguna Beach.
